Warning: Most Disgusting Post Ever

Last night, Nate and I were upstairs putting clothes away. Well, I was putting clothes away, Nate was running around. I hung some clothes in the closet, turned around and noticed Nate chewing on something. "NATE! What's in your mouth??" He ran. I chased. I pried his mouth open to find something brown and crumbly. "Where did you find a cookie??" I asked

I started searching the floor for the source of the brown crumbs and I found it: cat puke. Yep, one of the cats (pointing finger at Nittany) threw up cat food whole and Nate ate a piece.

I almost threw up myself. Then I got his toothbrush and scrubbed the holy living crap out of his mouth.

No enchilada.

I made bean enchiladas for dinner tonight. I had a package of brand new tortillas which I opened and began filling. I soon realized that I only had seven tortillas even though the package said eight. I was so shocked to realize that someone miscounted my tortillas that I recounted THREE times. Like I'm the one who can't count to eight. How could this happen?? Where is my 8th tortilla? Did someone else get nine? It's not like I could just return the package and be like "hey, I only got seven" because you know they'd think that I just ate one! Plus who has the time to fight for one tortilla anyway...

October??

There really isn't much going on here except that it's October suddenly which I find to be amazing. We are still debating Nate's Halloween costume and that's really the big thing right now.

Yesterday was my friend Becky's youngest daughter's 5th birthday party. It was a lot of little girls and Nate. There was also a balloon lady there and we found out that Nate does NOT like latex balloons at all. He kept pushing his race car balloon away and giving me the stink eye.

Then by accident we found that Nate loves Nerds (the candy, not the people). I gave him a mini box to play with and he chewed through the cardboard and got one in his mouth. He's now a big fan even though I only give him one tiny Nerd at a time.

Wow, that was such a super boring post, I'm kind of embarrassed...
