Before I make this announcement, I'd like to point out that I have been at my current job for 1 year, 5 months and 12 days. That is a record for me. That being said...I start a new job at Allied Insurance Brokers on July 31st. I will be in charge of marketing and launching their new branding campaign (which does include a new website!). It's been a bit harder to leave the mall than I thought it would be, but the drive, the constant weekends and the crappy pay were killing me. Everyone is pretty bummed I'm leaving which I honestly didn't expect...
On to more fun events...Brian and I went to State College for Arts Fest this past weekend as well. We stayed with his brother and sister-in-law (Scott and Angie) who took us to this GREAT microbrewery called Otto's. I had the most amazing beer that tasted like coffee. Brian had a wine slushee. Here's a pic:

Today, I was watering my garden and I found my first zucchini growing!! Yes, an actual VEGETABLE!! That I grew! From a seed! It's a miracle!!
I'll keep you all posted on the job and zucchini situations as they progress!

Have you tried the microbrewery in Slippery Rock.....North Country, next to the Camelot. Very good.

This company needs you - if for nothing else, but to proofread their website! "Allied Insurance Brokers, Inc. was named one of the Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania buy the Pittsburgh Business Times." BUY...hmmm, someone should have caught that one!
I have not tried the SR microbrewery but I really want to!
And yes, Brian is notorious for girlie drinks! We'll often go out and the waitress will set his mudslide down in front of me and my beer in front of him...
